Our Program

Choose Life Ministry is a Christian faith-based community living program. This is a program for women aged 18+ to take the next step on their path to healing. Choose Life Ministry has a proven track record that aids young women in dealing with life-controlling issues such as substance abuse, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, self-harm and trauma related challenges.

Choose Life Ministry was founded to establish a place for young women ages 18+
to find freedom from life-altering challenges including:

  • Substance Abuse

  • Mental Illness (such as depression and anxiety)

  • Unexpected Pregnancy

  • The effects of Physical and/or Sexual Abuse

  • Eating Disorders

  • Self-Harm Behaviours

  • Others...etc.

The Choose Life Ministry Program includes:

  • Counseling

  • Nutrition, Fitness & Healthy-Living Training

  • Practical Life Skills

  • Freedom Session Course

At Choose Life Ministry, residents explore and find freedom from the past – pain they’ve experienced, pain they’ve caused, resentment, guilt, shame and lies.  As healing occurs, false beliefs and unhealthy behavioral patterns are broken.

Our program offers practical strategies to deal with real issues such as pornography, broken relationships, sexual woundedness and abuse, depression, anger, fear and various forms of addiction. Beneath these “symptoms” is most likely a wounded and empty heart, looking for hope and meaning.

As Jesus heals the heart, unhealthy and destructive ways previously used to escape the pain become less and less attractive. Shame loses its grip and the lies that once sought to destroy are replaced by God’s truth and the practical skills to live accordingly.  This is the pathway to true and lasting freedom.

While the Choose Life Ministry program itself is free of charge, there is a monthly charge for room and board and incidentals.  The monthly charge is $900 which includes lodging, food, costs for going on outings and all personal supplies.
